Who We Are
Mission Statement:
The Job Search Focus Group promotes service and support
programs to those seeking career opportunities and employers looking to
fill positions.
JSFG exists through member contributions of time and
talent. The work center is open every Monday through
Friday 9:00AM-3:00PM. The work center offers current
research literature, viable survival options, employment
opportunities, and membership information.
Members, along with other noted tri-state professionals,
instruct classes ranging from computer courses, at various levels,
to résumé and cover letter writing. Members make up the Steering
Committee, Speaker's Bureau, and other committees such as
Marketing, Computer, and Membership. This is how JSFG works.
JSFG offers employers a listing of qualified candidates.
Members prepare a biography which is
electronically sent to tri-state businesses. These PROFILES are also offered on the internet through the JSFG
web page.
